Absolutely amazing service from phone call to getting our dog put to sleep! Staff were all compassionate and so caring of the whole situation. After calling a different local vets and not getting the same treatment, I’m so glad we came across Jacqui Patterson Vets at The Avenue! Would recommend anyone to go here, they were all so lovely I wish we got their names!

We took one of our chickens to this branch last year when she was really unwell, got an appointment on the same day and Mehmet (I think it was) was absolutely fantastic with her! Nothing was too much trouble for him, he spent time giving her a full health check, giving her some medication and showing us how to best continue it at home. It’s a challenge finding a vets who actually care about chickens and Mehmet was a breath of fresh air compared to a farm vets we’ve used in the past. Wouldn’t hesitate to see him again! The receptionist on that occasion was a little peculiar, ignored us for a while when we were waiting to pay, then stated the till wasn’t working and she would send payment details to me, that never happened. It slipped my mind as we had many things on at the time, I then got a call weeks later about the unpaid bill… but had never once been contacted with a payment link/ call etc.

been going here for years and Dominika and Audra are actually the best, I refuse to see anyone else for my rats and dogs🥰highly reccomended amazing ladies that know what they're doing and are great at their job x

If you have gerbils it is tough to find a good vet as many cater for cats and dogs only. A vet named Audra at this practice is brilliant, really knows her stuff and the hazards to gerbils that other animals would not be sensitive to.
